Doc. Ing. Jiøí Volf, CSc. Deputy Minister of Finance of the CR Born 20 August 1941 in Prague Education: skilled printer, leaving certificate, University of Economics - economy of industry (1967), scientific aspirant at the university of technologies in Brno (1987), appointed lecturer for management and planning (1988), various short- term courses concerning management of government administration in Austria (1990). Experience: printing offices, foreign trade office, goods assesment office, Office of School Information, government administration at the Federal Ministry of Technical and Investment Development, Ministry of Education, Charles University in Prague, University of Economics. Teaching experience: University of economics, Carles University in Prague (about 15 years both); Currently giving just occassional lectures, member of State Level Exams Committees. Specialisation: During last 20 year he specialized in both theory and praxis in economy of management and financing of public services. Since 1993 manager of depatment and deputy minister. He participated in creation of many Bills and concepts. About 50 published essays, studies, co- author of many publications including university teaching material. Current membership of administration boadrs of four universities, member of the Academy of Sciences Senate, member of scientific council of three universities. Deputy of the Ministry of Finance in many governmental advisory bodies and also administrative and advisory boards of state supervised and trading organisations. |
