Petr Štemberk

Born in Prague in 1971. After graduating from an Economic Secondary School specialising in foreign trade, he studied at FAMU between 1990 - 1994, specialising in film and TV production. During his studies, he worked as an Assistant Producer and Head of Production for various production companies. Between 1994 - 1996 he worked in AB Barrandov a.s., as the head of its Custom Production Department. After 1996, he participated in making many advertising spots, music clips and feature films, holding various positions, such as the Head of the Production Crew, Deputy Head of Filming, etc. Particularly worth mentioning are his co-operation on the Luc Besson feature film "Joan of Arc" and in the organisation of the ´96 Czech Grammy awards (IFPI). After 1999, he worked for foreign advertising agencies as an Executive Producer and Art Buyer. In September 2004, he joined the Office of the General Commissioner for EXPO as a public relations manager.
