I was born on 9th August 1947 in Chodov u Karlových Varů. My father was a teacher and later he was working
as the Director of Elementary School in this village. My mother was a teacher as well; later she was the Director
of Nursery School in the same place. My brother is a Doctor and he makes his medical practice from 1979 in Germany.
I’m married and I have three daughters. My wife – Dr. I. Kasíková manages the Children Information Centre with help
line for children in need. My daughters are studying.
Education: The Elementary School I attended in Chodov u Karlových Varů, and then I graduated Gymnasium in Karlovy
Vary that I finished with the school leaving examination in 1965. In the same year I started my studies on the FSI ČVUT (Czech
University of Technology). I finished my technical studies in 1971. In 1975 I was enrolled in the Philosophical
Faculty of the Charles University, studies of sociology and political economy. This second University I didn’t finish due the
family reasons. From the childhood (from 5 years) I was led to the music and luckily I had possibility to become the student
of Professor Marešová (coincidentally in the certain period she was a teacher of Svjatoslav Richter). I was enrolled in the
Conservatory, the classical education won. In adult life I deepened my education by the studies of composition and conducting
by Prof. Macourek. Languages: English, Russian and Serbian
Employment: Immediately after my studies, i.e. in 1971 I had engagement in the orchestra that accompanied various
pop-music singers. I was classed to the group of people with the free business. The highest honour in my artistic work was
that I had possibility to conduct the accompanying orchestra of Eva Pilarová (3 years). I was working also for other
personalities, for example for Naďa Urbánková, Karel Černoch, Lenka Filipová, Josef Laufer, Hana Zagorová.
From 1982 till approx. 1984 I was working externally in the Czechoslovak Radio as a Musical Editor. In 1982 I was
posted to the team that was resolving various critical situations in the Service For Organisation and Directing. I was external
employee charged to lead various events (OIRT Congress, department expositions, exposition Repro 89 etc.).
In 1987 I finished all the work as a professional musician and I continued to work only in the sphere of organisation and
management.
In 1989 I was for short time employed in the company Menet Průhonice with task to establish and develop foreign business activity.
In January 1990 I was invited to participate in the managing of preparations of the Cecios 90 Congress (the 1st manager congress
in the Czech Republic – approx. 3 500 participants). From May 1990 I was managing the preparations. One part of the managing team
of this congress was founded by the Kaskol Company that was occupied by organisation and management, educational events in this
range and by informatics.
In March 1993 Kaskol received the licence for the whole-area radio broadcasting (Radio Alfa). Since then I concentrated all my
power to the construction and to the consecutive function of Radio Alfa Station. On 24th February 1999 this station finished
the broadcasting.
