Commissioner General Office
Ing. Roman Bělor Director of the Prague Spring International Music Festival Born in Prague 1958. He graduated at the Prague Technical University (Dipl. Eng.). In 1990 he started at the Prague Symphony Orchestra on the position of the Orchestra Manager, from 1992 till 8/2001 Managing Director. In 2001 he accompanied the Orchestra on a tour to the People´s Republic of China which was the first trip of a Czech symphony orchestra to that country after 1960. From August 2001 he is on the position of the Managing Director of the Prague Spring International Music Festival, the most prestigious music event in the Czech Republic. He teaches Music Management at the Prague Academy of Music. Married, 2 children. |
