WELCOME TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC'S REGIONS
Ing. Jiří Šulc Born in the year 1958 in Most. Education: Graduated from the Secondary School of Civil Engineering in Kadaň. 1992 graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech
Technical University in Prague, major in civil engineering, Master of Engineering.
Work experience:
After graduation worked in the construction industry, involved in complex development of residential dwellings
and in special-purpose construction (hospital in Most, Teplice, Chomutov and v Ústí nad Labem, theaters, cultural
centers, land fills etc.) 1990 member of the City Council in Most. 1994 elected as the Major, later the Municipal Major of the town of Most. 1995 - 2001 chairman of the Euro region Krušnohoří, active in the Regional
Association of Municipalities. Member of the City Council of Most, Economic and Social Committee of the Most region
and the Regional Committee NUTS II. 2000 elected the Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Authority
in the Ústecký region for CDP.
