  • working with the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Ministry for Regional Development
  • with the Foreign Committee and Subcommittee of the House of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, and with the diplomatic corps in Japan as wll as the EXPO 2005 Administration
  • negotiations with the Japanese TV and radio companies on the transmission of the highlights of the Czech National Day at EXPO 2005
  • arranging and contracting premises and accommodation in Japan for 2005
  • communication:
     
    - drafting corporate design and corporate image of the Office
      of the Commissioner-General;
    - preparing advertising company for 2004;
    - launching the web pages www.expo2005.cz;
    - publishing issues No. 1 and 2 of the magazine EXPO;
    - establishing contacts with media partners;
    - taking other communication steps as part of the communication strategy
      prepared by the selected communication agency; PR activities, follow-up
      communication with journalists and institutions

EXPO 2004

  • completing the selection procedure for the main theme (synopsis), script, libretto, layout of the pavilion and realization
  • preparing the exposition
  • securing promotional and giveaway items as well as goods to be sold at EXPO
  • selection procedure for the operator of the Czech restaurant at EXPO
  • presenting part of the exposition in the Czech Republic and abroad – in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Czech Centers
  • working with Czech Tourism, Czech Invest, Czech Trade
  • selection of hostesses, production of costumes and accessories, personnel training
  • working with the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry for Regional Development, and the Ministry of the Environment, with the Foreign Committee
  • Subcommittee of the House of Deputies of the Czech Parliament and the diplomatic corps in Japan as well as the EXPO 2005 Administration
  • transporting materials and personnel to Japan, installing the exposition

    - first part of the advertising campaign culminating in the autumn of 2004;
