Garden of fantasy and music breaks its visitor record again

Nagoya - Shortly after the Czech pavilion celebrated one million five hundred thousand visitors since the start of the International exhibition, another visitor record has been broken. During a single day, 14,136 people visited the Czech Republic pavilion. The interest of the EXPO visitors in the Czech display is constantly growing. With the International exhibition coming to an end, people are trying to take a look at as many pavilions as possible or are returning to their favourite places of which the Czech Garden of Fantasy and Music is one.

The Czech Republic exhibition at EXPO 2005 has already been seen by one and a half million visitors

Nagoya - Two weeks before the end of the International exhibition in the Japanese prefecture of Aichi, the Czech Republic pavilion has exceeded the previous estimates for overall visitor numbers. The predictions, which prior to the start of EXPO spoke of 8 thousand visitors per day, were already exceeded in April, and the trend in number of visitors has so far been upward. Around 12 thousand people go through the pavilion daily.

The show of Czech film in tokyo captured the interest of the Japanese public

Nagoya - In the capital city of Japan the last of the Czech Republic’s accompanying programs for EXPO 2005 is coming to an end – The Show of Czech Film, which was commenced on 30th August. Czech and Czechoslovakian cinematography has been presented to Japanese viewers for the first time in history in an integrated form. In total, 40 film presentations have been prepared, which have been seen by over 3,000 viewers.
